As the Founder Principal and Lead Instructor, Diana L. Rodriguez established Assured Shot with a clear purpose:
to provide practical, professional firearms education in an environment where students can build knowledge,
develop skills, ask questions, and gain confidence without intimidation.

As an NRA Certified Firearms Instructor, I’m dedicated to providing practical, purposeful training that equips individuals with the knowledge, skills, and assurance they need to protect themselves and their loved ones.
Whether you’re a first-time firearm owner, an experienced firearm owner looking to refine your skills, or preparing to meet the training requirements for a concealed carry permit, my goal is to create a safe, welcoming learning environment where you can build knowledge and confidence at your own pace.
I believe personal safety isn’t simply about carrying a firearm. It begins with awareness, preparation, sound judgment, and knowing how to respond when circumstances require it.
That philosophy is why Assured Shot training goes beyond basic instruction. Students receive practical education, real-world context, hands-on training,
and personalized instruction designed to meet them where they are while helping them become more capable and confident.

My approach to instruction is built around patience, respect, safety, and practical application. Every student enters the classroom with a different level of experience, comfort, and confidence—and I believe effective instruction begins by recognizing those differences.
At Assured Shot, questions are encouraged, fundamentals matter, and students are given the opportunity to learn without unnecessary pressure or judgment.
My goal isn’t simply to help you complete a course. It’s to help you leave better informed, better prepared, and more confident in your ability to make responsible decisions regarding your personal safety.
