The Virginia + Utah Concealed Carry Training Program is designed for individuals who already possess a foundational understanding of firearm safety and operation, such as graduates of our Virginia Introduction to Firearms Training Program or an equivalent firearms training course.

This comprehensive six-hour training program prepares students to carry concealed with confidence, responsibility, and a mindset centered on avoiding conflict whenever possible.

Live-Fire Training

This Training Program includes a live-fire training session designed to reinforce safe firearm handling, marksmanship fundamentals, and responsible concealed carry techniques through practical application.

Students will receive individualized coaching to strengthen confidence, accuracy, and safe firearm manipulation
under the guidance of a certified instructor.

Program Information

This Training Program Includes:

• Classroom instruction

• Live-fire training

• Personalized coaching

• In-person firearms training that may satisfy Virginia’s proof-of-handgun-competency requirement for a Concealed Handgun Permit.

• Utah BCI-certified concealed firearm permit training

• Fingerprinting for the Utah BCI permit application

  • Important for Utah applicants: Utah requires nonresident applicants to hold a valid concealed carry permit from their state of residence before applying for a Utah Concealed Firearm Permit. Virginia residents should review current Utah BCI application requirements before applying.

• Important: Permit issuance is determined by the applicable government agency. Course completion does not guarantee permit approval.

A Utah Concealed Firearm Permit may provide additional concealed-carry recognition in other states, subject to
each state’s residency requirements, recognition rules, and applicable firearm laws. Permit holders are responsible
for verifying current laws before carrying or traveling.

Range Fee: $25 (Included in registration)

Assured Shot will remit the range fee to Silver Eagle Group on the student's behalf. Ammunition is not included in the training program tuition.

Required Equipment

Eye and ear protection are required during the live-fire training session.
Students may use their own protective equipment or rent or purchase equipment directly from Silver Eagle Group.

Program Outcome

Upon successful completion of this training program, students will receive applicable course-completion documentation for their Virginia concealed handgun permit application and, when Utah requirements are
satisfied, the firearms familiarity certification required for a Utah Concealed Firearm Permit application.

Permit eligibility and issuance are determined by the applicable state authority.

More importantly, students will leave with a deeper understanding of the responsibilities that accompany
